Haha I'm jelly, too. I'm an ectomorph, so putting on muscle isn't too easy for me, but with my diet, I can put it on...along with the fat, though:(

But step on one and you fuckin cry like a baby...that shit hurts

It looks like his arm is rotting off. There's a lot of guys at my gym that do test, Deca, Winny, and tren, and all that other crap, but no one has THAT shit going on. Gross

So, my cutting is about to commence right after Christmas and what I change on a cut is:

    - 20 mins of HIIT before each workout (4 times a week), compared to zero cardio on a bulk
    - reducing calories from 3500 to around 2800 per day
    - eating clean as shit
    - drinking nothing but water (and protein shakes, of course)

I was reading a few pages back about someone doing carb reduction or something. I don't really do that, but was curious what that's about. Diet wise, I just eat clean and change the type of carbs I eat (rather than white potatoes, rice, bread, etc., I eat more whole grain type stuff, as well as beans.) My go-to carbs on a cut are whole wheat pasta, Ezekiel bread, brown rice, and black beans. I do reduce my carb intake a little, just to have my calories below maintenance, but I still eat a portion of carbs with every meal.

Anyway, I was wondering what everyone else does differently on a cut, cardio and diet wise...also, an explanation on the carb loading/reduction thing. Thanks, fellas

Forgot to mention, I was supposed to do legs today, but out of the 6 mother f'ers that do legs at my gym, every single one of them decided to do them today, so I did back and bi's and will do legs tomorrow. I did a burnout bicep workout that KICKED MY ASS! Just curl the 45 lb. bar 100 times, in sets of 10-15, doing one set palms facing you and one set palms facing away from you. Also, on each set, adjust the width of your hands (do some wide, some shoulder-width, and some close grip) My bi's were on FIYA!

There's no worse feeling than being sick and not being able to eat. I weigh myself like 5 times a day when I'm sick haha.

i hope you mean 4 times a week with the hiit.
it's carb back loading, so pretty much turning your body ketosis, 10 days of low carbs to turn your body ketosis, then on lifting days you eat most of your carbs post workout/later in the day. and on non lifting days you eat low carb. im still not 100% convinced but im giving it a try.

I did mean 4 times a week. Whoops. Fixed it.

Ahhhh, okay. I also forgot to mention, I do intermittent fasting on a cut, too. Not the whole time, though...maybe like a month. I've done it twice so far and that shit works. Basically, you eat all your food in an 8 hour window and fast for 16 hours (8 of the hours, you're sleeping, so it's not bad). It takes a few days to get used to it, but it melts fat off lol. I don't know what the scientific name for it is called, but from what I've read about it, while fasting, your body trains itself to burn fat for energy, rather than carbs, so after going after the fat you've consumed in your 8 hour eating window, it goes after stored fat for fuel...I was skeptical before I tried it, but both times I did it, it worked for me.

i do IF too when i cut, usually 6 hour window, from 3-9. some times 2 meals sometimes 3, hard thing about cutting is the having to eat less food and being hungry and if helps me to feel full when im cutting.

i think you might having your hips too low, and that's making you pull back instead of pull up. try to have bar, mid foot and 1 inch away from shin and pull from half squat position instead of parallel

I set the bar mid foot and squat until my shins touch the bar

Glad I'm not the only one doing it. I saw where the Hodge twins do a 6 hr window and sometimes even 4! That's fucking ridiculous! I can't eat really big portions, so I have to break it up into about 3-4 meals. I've always wanted to try to go to a 6 hr window. I'll prob try it this go around.

What kind of cardio do you do on a cut? The HIIT works well for me. I either do 20 mins on the treadmill, alternating walking and sprinting every minute or do a track workout and walk the curves and sprint the straight-aways for 20 mins.

i do small eating windows because my appetite is crazy, if i don't count macros i eat 5000 -7000 calories a day and still go to bed starving. i remember one of my cheat meals was 12000 calories.

i don't do much cardio and if i do do them its usually 20-30 mins of treadmill, 6.0 incline at 3.0 pace. not a big fan of HIIT.

Oh okay. I have to do some kind of cardio, as I drink most Saturday's lol. When cutting, if I do drink, it's whiskey and water and only 1 day a week....that's a little easier to burn off than a 12 pack lol #collegekidproblems

When I drink, I shoot fireball and yohimbe....that shit'll turn you into Sexual T-Rex!

My typical day is almost always intermittent fasting...when I'm working. On off days, I graze all day long.
