some may have moved up through the ranks...some may have been recruited from a competitor because they developed marketable skills and made themselves a desirable employee.

some may have a dad who owns the franchise and is a worthless pos...

point is...not all McDonald's jobs pay 7bux an hour. Like I posted earlier...in my area they start burger flippers at $10.

already been discredited earlier. as I posted...average is because of large influx of retirees.

like I've suggested...you need new (creditable) material.

You really think 10 bucks and hour will make all the complainers happy? No. They will wait a year and bitch about how hard it is to live on 10 and want more. Or complain about some other unfair aspect in their lives.

There could be exceptions, but if you have been working in a min. Wage job for over 4 yrs and have not have a raise. Odds are you are lazy or not motivated to work hard to get a promotion or another job.

If your gonna be stupid you gotta be tough. (goes hand in hand with) why should I pay for the stupid decisions of others.

You picked a salary scale from a town with 8000 people.

This^^...when will the obligatory raises end?

Hey, I dont need some young, tattooed punk ass kid telling me what the......oh yeah, just noticed it's an average.:)

Anyways, that still doesnt change my opinion about the OP's topic. You work fast food. You have made that choice. Nobody held a gun to your head to work at Mcdonalds or Burger King. Now, suddenly, it's a problem because they want to have what people who work their ass have. You make a career as a Mcdonalds cashier, deal with it. If not, improve your situation and do something about it.

Agree. I joked around earlier about being from different countries than one of the other posters in this thread but, man it's really hard to believe people seem to expect others to care for them...period. We've really become the country of wuss & puss or dope & shame when adult men think everyone needs a hand out instead if figuring out a way to make it work. So disappointed in how our country it "progressing". It really is a sad state...like those of us that work or own businesses should be ashamed to keep what we've worked for and not give it away. The nerve of people...

If the minimum wage drones didn't have a smart phone bill to pay every month they won't need $15.00 an hr
These are entry level jobs, not careers

People that feel entitled to things like pay raises or promotions, cell phones, cable tv, even though they don't try to work hard or better themselves.

Some of the younger people I know are like this but most older people (60 and over) are quite the opposite and live well within there means
