Kid can't even post up the grades he's boasting about. I fear any lessons will fall on deaf ears.

 

I'm not boasting about any grades. I'm saying that my straight C freshman year sucked compared to this year where I have a 3.0 average

 

3.0 is like breaking an 80 overall

A in engineering.
A in one of my English classes
B in algebra
B in world history
C in the other English class
C in science

 

Also. What would be one of the top tires that I can get at discount tire for less than 200 a tire mounted and balanced?

Raytheon wants a 3.0 minimum for their enginerding and science positions. Same with most grad schools.

Employers asking for transcripts isn't all that uncommon for those sorts of jobs.

Yup, absolutely! It's more important which first job you get out of college, so get an internship while in college so you have experience which will get you $$$ and opportunities compared to all the nooobs...

 

It looks like my front BF goodies are starting to die. I'm probably going to need new tires in like 5000 miles. The problem is that my rear tires are still at like 50%. What do you guys think I should do. I won't have the money to put the lift on in time most likely so I can't go up to 285s. Should I sell all of the tires and get some new Duratracs or ATII's? or should I just get 2 new BFG's?

Most likely sticking with 265/70/17s

If you've had your eyes on these threads as of late you will see a growing trend of a lot of us going to the atII and for good reason. If you keep the same size, mount the two bfgs on steelies and use them as spares. Then just save your pennies on the lift and get everything right the first time. You will get the lift on before these tires wear out and a 265x70 won't look horrible on a 3.5" lift.

Now admittedly there are a number of people who are complete idiots with zero common sense that can memorize things for exams and get good grades, they're in the sciences as well. But good grades are generally (painting with a really broad brush here) a pretty good indicator of how good they are.

 

Beating a dead hoarse fellas! Its been days of this topic and the kid is 16 years old and has got the world figured out without any of our real world aged advice.
