    Yep. Insider leak saying no more gasoline engines for Tacomas. Diesel only starting 2015.

    Actually it's a diesel/electric hybrid with a cvt transmission and maple syrup flavored door handles.

    The rumor mill has Toyota Chief Engineer for the Tundra and Tacoma, Mike Sweers, saying, "The 2015 is not going to be a little Tundra look-alike, and start thinking a little old school."

    This was overheard at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant in San Antonio back in September.

    Guess that is about as cryptic as it gets, but more than what we've heard from anyone or anywhere else.

    The brand-new engine, which has been lately guessed, is the 2.0 L turbo engine with four cyndrical tubes and direct gas injection. It is fairly possible that this engine will be geared up with the new 2015 Toyota Tacoma Will this unit replace some of the V6 engine which has actually been equipped Toyota Tacoma, still is not known, and neither is whether will certainly be offer turbocharged engines.

    Not sure that I'd base any beliefs off a website that's this incompetent.

    It's like they wrote it with a Mandarin to English dictionary. My favourite (favorite for you 'Mericans) is the direct gas injection in a diesel engine. With four cyndrical tubes, no less. Awesome.
