:spy: I am quite sure that I have no idea what you're talking about.

I did get more than a few phone numbers and some dates out of it, though.

That was because all they did was take a gas engine and convert to diesel.

I'd still go back to GM before ever going to Ford or Dodge.

Yep, although I have admittingly been coming around to Ford lately. I actually like some of their newer models :anonymous:

The newer models certainly look nice. But when I was at an auto show and their brand new F-150 was rusting on the showroom floor, just reminded me why not to buy Ford.

Maybe I want my Ford thoroughly track tested when I bring it in for an oil change... with the wrong oil...

No no no no no!!! You have to drain the old oil, do a dyno pull, then add the new shitty oil. Running it to redline without the old oil is how you clean out all the old stuff. Trust me, a douche bag tech with a toolbox twice the cost of my truck told me so! And he made damn sure I knew that price tag of the toolbox too! He assured me the transmission flush was necessary and explained all the benefits of the optional services as he bent me over the waste oil barrel and attempted to rape my wallet.

Damn, that sucks. I'm more considering the Exploder, an SUV better suits my needs at my present stage in life. It'll be a long time before I actually do anything but I've started considering my options.

My driveway will be where most, if not all, of the work is performed. The mechanic can be an ass at times and definitely drags his feet but at least I know the work will be done right :)

I do have an appreciation for the Raptor even if the pricetag is way off. Already had a soft spot for Ford based on the 79 Bronco I had back in the day....

And you'd do well to listen to his advice. Clearly, you're just a yuppie who can't even perform your own oil change so you'd better leave it to the professionals :D

The Explorers are built like cars now, unibody instead of a frame.
