I work at a Ford dealer and the porters move our personal vehicles to the front when it gets near closing time. The porters like to debate who gets to move my truck a lot of days. They like to be the first one to ask me for my keys. Funny thing is that its the only Toyota parked at a Ford dealer!!

Ya know, I was in my truck driving to a tacomaworld meet up one night listening to the radio.... and some guy was on some show talking about how no one takes any pride in their ride today....

I almost called in and asked him to look up tacomaworld :D Clearly they have never seen my truck.

Well, yeah, of course I give a quick parting glance as I walk away. Park, get out, touch something (fender, tail light, or tailgate) as I walk by, and then a quick glance back. I mean, doesn't everybody???

I think I'm so used to doing it that I have no recollection of doing it. I know that I often stare at other folks Tacomas. I hope you guys don't mind but I've probably given you a look of approval if I've seen you on the road.

Sometimes when I see other Tacomas on the road, I give a nod or a wave, and when they don't return the nod or wave I wonder if they even realize that they are driving a Tacoma and are part of a group of folks that are supposed to nod and wave at each other because they are driving a Tacoma!
