Needs to be Friday already so I can start working on my bumper!

Also, a friend of mine found a guy selling Lightforce 170 HID's for $250. They normally run about $500. Problem is they were originally non-HID's and he converted them. Kind of has me on the fence about it. I don't need to spend the money, but it's cheaper. But it could be a crappy conversion and I don't know if I want to take the chance of them not having as good of an output as the real things...

Yeah, kind of what I'm thinking...

Was very tempting before I knew they were converted to HID!

Exactly, I would assume he knew what he was doing since he SAC'ed the front and linked the rear of his 4Runner. But I don't need to spend more money and I want to make sure I don't cheap out, so I'll just hold off and pay the full price of a new set.

I wouldn't even think about spending $500 on a set of lights if I didn't want them to perform.

I'm using these for spotlights, so they need to be lined up perfect to be able to work with the focusing of the filters and everything. Just really don't want a cheap out haha
    Exactly

These are Monte's tow Lightforce 240 Halogen spots.... Think about how far and brighter 50watt HID's would be ;)

Haha yeah I know. I just cheaped on my lights for my 96 and want to make sure I do everything the best quality I can this time.

Yeah, it's not necesarrily the brightness though. It's the distance. The Striker 170 50w HID's are rated reach 1,150 meters! Haha

I do always seem to see the weird stuff

No pics, he already left. Plus I think he was too far away for my phone to see it clearly as he was on the other side of the street. But I could totally tell he was using this one:
