The best is when an impromptu taco train forms on the road.

And I do stare....all the time. I think sometimes my gf gets jealous of her

i walk slower when i return.
bonus points when other people do this to my truck, especially when i remote start it.

Sniffle...I look at my '04 Taco on the dealer's lot with the price scrawled across the window in glaringly ugly orange and white and miss 'er every time I drive past.

The new one is nice. Maybe after it's gotten me safely back and forth to work down snowy and icy roads in MN, MO, KS and muddy back "roads" in LA and TX...I'll start to warm up to it. Right now it still just feels like basic transportation for when I absolutely, positively have to be transported, no matter what.

Then again, it's also eating three hundred and something out of my budget every month. Maybe when it starts paying its keep, I'll think of it more fondly.

I had to think about this but if I am driving my Camry I rarely look back. But if I am driving my Taco, I always look back to make sure it is ok.

hahaha i do that all the time i thought i was weird.

Warning: This may be kinda off topic and Boring

Anyways i love my Tacoma. Its seriously the best vehicle I'v ever had. I bought it 2 years ago, In that time i have been trying to find a car to kinda replace it with so i dont put so many damn miles on it. First i Had an 02 civic that i sold because i seen to many girls driving them. Then i picked up a 2003 BMW 330ci this was by far my faviourite but i ended up selling it because i always drove the tacoma. After that i figured hey i should buy a RHD 93 Toyota MR2 Turbo, 1 week later(after much boosting) motor overheats...I had to tear the entire motor out and replace the head/gaskets my luck it ran fine for a week and the turbo went. Fixed everything and Traded it for a lifted JEEP TJ , Which i drove for a week and started thinking... My tacoma is much better then this thing, The steering was all over the road. so much road noise. So i traded it to a guy for a 07 arctic cat 500 4x4 with snow plow and $2800.

So now i find myself with just my Tacoma (and quad). I'v tried to replace it but its just to damn reliable/practical i cant let go. In this neck of the woods there are VERY few first gen tacomas, Especially 01-04.
All of my other vehicles have had under 150 000 KM's and My tacoma has 365000KM's and i trust it more then any of my vehicles.
    END RANT
