I've been told that 1,4, or 5 mean built in CA and a #3 means built in Mexico?

More curious on how far it had to be shipped to my state than anything else. I'd imagine almost every plant in any country has so much automation that whoever works there is just lifting and putting things into place for a machine to rivet/screw/weld/press for the majority of the work. I got a buddy thats an industrial engineer for a pretty large firm and he claims that technology in automation is killing more jobs than whats going overseas. I can believe it. Have ya'll seen some of those new fancy cnc machines lately? wow.

I would SERIOUSLY doubt that. The taco's built in Fremont are built by the same people that build corollas. So we know the people know how to do a good job. That would be the only difference in build locations, manufacturing machinery and plans should be identical, only diff is the people that are used. All taco truck beds are manufactured in mexico, the motors I think are manufactured in Alabama, final assembly is all done in Fremont now. I don't think tacos are made in mexico anymore.
