Eh...its the Johnny Football thing going on again. A freshman BUSTS on to the scene and tears up a conference and stats. Been there, done that, watched him crash and burn. I say ole' Tre Mason or the kid from BC should be Heisman front runners. Sucks to hear about Mettenberger. I was really impressed with him this year. LSU is always scary.

Funny you mentioned that....the other day they were interviewing T.Boyd from Clemson & he really did sound like an authentic college student. I was impressed that he sounded like he might be a smart kid.

 

The real sad part is there is only a few players any of us can listen to talk for more than 10 seconds.. Coaches should out gag orders on most of them...

Malzahn isnt going anywhere.. Saban isnt either.. The Longhorn network and the Good Ole Boy network doesnt jive with either control freak... Besides, Mac doesnt have a bad record and look at Tennessee, Alabama in the 90-early 2000's.. finding good coaches isnt easy.

The view I had of Chris Davis was AUsome.. the drive back to Texas was even better.. the fact that my wife is a Bama fan wasn't......

Not a big fan of Manziel's character, but he is a pretty good leader when things are going right. Haven't seen him too often when things aren't going his way, but I've noticed that guys like to be around him on the sideline.
