I'm moving to the Shaw in Jan. Been going back and forth there since I was a kid. I'm def not. Come to the Cork with me on Adams and Buckingham. Me and my cousin are the ONLY white people in there. So much fun, plus the up side is all the black chics think your a novelty

 

A lot of racers cut their own siping with razor blades or hot knives, and are pretty particular about the pattern they each use...all different; almost like a fingerprint.

Downside to siping is the tires tend to "chunk" more easily...

 

Installed power pop & lock tailgate lock. Put loc-tite on screw, and expanding foam underneath to make it a little quieter. Ran the cables up to the b-pillar, there is a floor grommet there. Soldered, heat shrink tubing to door circuit, passenger side. While I was doing that I connected primary wire to my dome light. I attached the leads to either side of the dome light, and connected with a two-lead disconnect (not a bullet-type Autozone connector). One side of dome light will be negative switched and on factory timer. The other side is 12V constant. Ran all of this back in wire loom, wire-tied neatly to existing harness. I then ran a 4-flat wire harness through a hole in bed (with grommet and wire loom. I soldered 4-flat to dome light leads and to stop light and ground. I mounted the connector to the composite bed. It came with a weatherproof cover. I'm now ready for my cap. I'm kind of OCD about wiring! No vampire taps if at all possible! I doubt the dealer would come even close to this job, and now my cap dome light will turn on when a door is open, or switch (in cab) is turned on. And it will go off automatically if in advertently left on. I'll mate a 4-flat male to the existing cap harness myself. Of course, dealer may give me flak about not leaving without him connecting 3rd brake light or something. We'll see.


I read of connecting it to the parking lamps or something like that. Not for me.

 

I guess it makes it easier for you to accept that you are a racist if you assume that everyone else is, or that they would be if they lived where you are.

Put on a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler today. Loud but not terrible. I will give it a few days so I can get used to it, but I think I like it.

I can see this topic getting out of hand so why don't we all just agree to disagree and move on...besides racism has little to do with what mods you did today...unless you just installed a dixie horn.
