    Grammer nazis.
What a clown to pick on someones grammar.
Who the eff cares, you understand what he was trying to say. So leave it at that.

    Now back to topic.

Everything has gone up in price nowadays, but the hourly wage is still about the same.
Seriously in this world, the poor stays poor, rich just gets richer....

Emancipated ass hole and embarrassment to my family because I prefer someone use the language of our nation? I said it because I am unable to understand what he is talking about, proper grammar and spelling would correct that....

Prices are going through the roof. A lot of it is because of all the government meddling making them add things for safety and requiring higher MPG's which takes more technology. I wish the government would get out of it. I would add this. If you think a Tacoma is high priced try and price a new Ford, Chevy, or Dodge that is comparable.

Seems like $31k in 2009 is about $34k today. Not Toyota's fault. It always amazed me when people say they received a raise, but then it is under the inflation rate. It isn't an exact figure, but you are making less money then last year in realty. Maybe these are the same people who get a tax refund and think it's free money to spend. Instead it's really giving an interest free loan out each year, or a forced way of saving. Personal choice.

    Back on topic:

I predict a V6 auto 4x4 loaded will have a $34,000 sticker today and $38,000 one in 2019.:D Any bets?

Go buy a F150 with the same options and it will be $50,000.

Not true..a similarly equipped F-150 is priced around 35k....that's why Ford abandoned the mid size market.

I didn't want a F-150. I wanted a Tacoma. If I have to pay a premium for having a quality truck so be it.:)

The Tacoma fits my needs perfectly. It is just the right size, fits in my garage perfect, plenty of aftermarket stuff to do to it, and I've got TW to hang out in. That is worth the price of admission in my book.

And all this time all of us here thought the Tacoma was the best selling "mid sized" truck....how wrong we all were

I don't know which one you're talking about but I saw a 2014 GMC/Chevrolet 1500, 4.3 (I didn't know this was still around), extended cab, 4x4. $36.9k. Still no freaking way. V8 minimum at that price and not some stamped wheels.

Motorcycles are up roughly 33% from ten years ago. We are freaking doomed.

No it was a douche bag thing to say especially because it was probably a typo. Chad-Dog is showing that just because you're educated doesn't mean you have class. . .

From the looks of Chad-Dogs signature Mommy & Daddy are taking real good care lil' Chad.

    Punk.

I bought my '06 in Jan. of '07, it stickered at $30,000 give or take a couple hundred. If inflation was steady at 2% (which is low for that period of time) it would increase to $34,460 by Jan. of '14. Not to mention the neat new gizmos they put in them now  Get them down a few thousand and you got what's known as a bargain.
