So what are some good sources of fats, besides nuts and meat? Also, how much do you eat on a carb day?

Avocados are great fat sources. And to be truthful, I've never counted how many carbs on a carb day. It depends on how I feel. Sometimes I'll just have a thing of rice or fries. Other times I'll crush a medium pizza and ice cream and donuts and cookies...haha usually it's in between

Im not strong willed enough to count that shit, I have cut the soda's and fast food crap down though. Usually try to do healthy eat out unless I get the craving for in n out or filibertos.

Have changed my schedule at the gym though as well. Now only two days of concentrated upper body, one day for legs, and one day for cardio and ab/core routines since I dont get the cardio in the field anymore.

Last question lol. Is a carb just a full day of eating pizza, pasta, fries, etc. or just a few bad carbs here and there?

    haha or a chikn sammicn

thats why I said good fats.. i understand what you mean though... With this keto thing you're limiting certain things ... I shouldnt talk on what I dont know.. All I know is body building nutrition (old school) haha

ikts already been said... but avocados are my favorite, fish oils, olive oils (any nut oil), almond milk, milk... and then your meats of course

youd be surprised if you just counted your calories at least once... if you average your week then you really see whats going in and out of your body

Yea, you'd be hard pressed to eat enough green vegetables to get your carb intake up to where it'd be equivalent of eating a bowl of cereal, blood sugar wise.

I honestly don't really "count" anything. I just eat meat and veggies. Eating fatty meats beside chicken breast will get those fat numbers and calories up.

I do that for breakfast and lunch, then go to the gym. After gym I do a shake of protein and dextrose, then about an hour later I'll eat again, mostly carbs. Probably anywhere in the 50-100gm range. Then do it again a bit later, this time with more protein.
On non-training days I just eat about 3-4 meals of meats and veggies. Sometimes I'll just substitute the last meal for some homemade coconut yogurt. Pretty much just half a can a coconut milk and a heaping scoop of protein powder.
    Easy calories and fat.

I'm not much of a counter either. So, you eat carbs after a workout on a keto diet?

Eating carbs after a workout is not keto, just something people who workout do to maximize recovery. I do it because I kind of do a carb backloading thing. If I didn't workout, I'd probably do a carb night thing.

There are people out there who constantly eat a ketosis diet. Most are not people who also partake in lifting weight.

T4R4, where'd you find chucks so cheap?
