    Just did mine last night, first real extended use of the bed outlet!
    The lights are much brighter than the pic makes em look, i wrapped em around my ski rack

    I put a 3-plug adapter in the bed socket and ran an extension cord over the front of the bed, under the cab, and up through the front wheel well to the grill. Wire tied the cord to the step tubes.

    I saw a FJ around town a few days ago that had some lights on the roof rack at the front. I know it is kinda close to Christmas but I still may try to do it. My wife is going to think I'm NUTS!!!. Just one strand of lights or will I need two? I may just do the two side rails and the rail up next to the cab. Probably won't do the tailgate.

    Doesn't say how long that strand is, or I missed it. But 25 count lights don't sound long enough. But that kind would work fine.

    My wife acts like she thinks I'm nuts when I put mine on, but I know she secretly likes them. Just refuses to admit it. :D

    Edit: just looked at the second pic and box said 24'. That is good assuming you're a short bed. That's the length I used. I also didn't go across the tailgate.
