how come you dont just get the mirrors from the highlander (mirror itself not housings) and run the wires because those come with headed mirrors

ok i am just saying for other ppl's out there.

 

I'm going to look into retrofitting some LEDs under my ProEFX mirror stalks to achieve the same end since they've already got signals. If that fails, I think I'll look into something like an LED flood installed inboard of the frame rails under the truck. Once they get dirty, they might throw just the right amount of light...

Why did you switch over to the OEM ones ? Your wobble issue never get resolved with the first ones ?

 

yea that was the reason...after a year bugged me alot

but ive seen some oem ones for like $150-160 each on ebay...no covers

Started my mini iPad install today. I am using a Metra bezel. Just made the intitial cuts to size for the mini ipad. Now its time for fiberglass and bondo to blend it all in. My plan is to basicly make a tray for the ipad to drop into. Going to glass in rare earth magnets that will hold the ipad in place. So instead of removing the bezel to get the ipad out I can pop it out from the front. The tray will have a hole in the middle so I can access the stereo if needed. The stereo will be a single Din recessed behing the iPad and is a model that plugs into the Ipad and allows the iPad to control the stereo.
