my CB drop is a BEEFED 1.5'' drop and 3º axle shims makes for a damn near straight drive shaft. Id check it for sure. I thought my squeal was the CB and it was really the U joint.

    See edit.

I haven't heard of more than a 1" drop. I may go more and see if that helps more with the small vibes I still have

I'll just throw some more washers in there for now. I still have some threads left haha. I would like a nice drop bracket later though

I drive 380 miles a week and my Yokohama Geolander ATS are fantastic for it. I have 15k miles on them and they still look new. This is my second set and got 78k out of the first set.

Not saying they're not an OK tire but i just can't bring myself to like the look of them. Plus, i'm saddled up with these KM2's for at least another year so i'll just need to adapt. I'll give that 2nd gear a try tomorrow, we have PRND2L as options and i suppose with the 4.88's that it will lower 2nd as well, which just might be the ticket (combined with using a feather to depress my gas pedal).

Also got about a foot away from rolling off a road up in Prescott, AZ last weekend. Dang slippery roots!

Pretty sure that when I put the lever on "2" when I am in 2hi or 4hi it starts in 1st and shifts to 2nd and stays there. It does not start out in 2nd.

I am certain this is what happens in 4lo, and I am certain, it will downshift from 2nd to 1st in 4lo because there have been times I wished it would not downshift and it does based on load.

Yep, that's how the taco trans operates, but some of the ford trans (like my moms 08 explorer) will be "locked" into what gear you put it in (1,2,or 3) which is really helpful for low traction situations as the traction control is useless, and there's no LS,locker, or 4x4 switch in her car.

I had a set of 31x10.50's on my old Jeep XJ. It did decent for an A/T. But with all the mud around here, I quickly switched to an M/T!!!
