2013 NCAA Football Thread

It's easy to have those "great" defenses when the opposing teams consistently have no offense. Try going against the top offenses week end and week out and producing those same numbers ex) my Pokes 12th in pts against holding the number 1 offense to 17 pts and Miss State to 3 pts (less than any SEC opponent)

 

With our starting qb at the time concussed and the most vanilla gameplan that we've had all year, out side of the 4th quarter against Auburn. Not going to take anything away from y'all, but we've improved since then. But please, continue to boast a win against us. That's what every national title contender needs to do this year.

 

The SEC defenses were really down across the board this year. Bama was still up top, but they didn't seem like the normal dominating D they've had in years past. LSU's defense didn't show up for several games. All Florida had was defense...until they allowed 429 rushing yards to Southern.

 

I hope Sparty gets it done and I hope the wheels fall off the Gus bus and it runs off a cliff.

 

Keep hoping! Everyone else hoped the same thing and the Gus Bus rolled over them! Ask Saban....all we need is a second!

The difference between the SEC and the other conferences is talent level across the board. I'm not saying that teams outside of the SEC don't have talent, but that no other conference has the amount of talent as the SEC does. If you disagree look at recruiting rankings of conferences and look at amount of players drafted from each conference.

 

Exactly! Look at what moving to the SEC did for A&M! People want to play in the SEC because it is the highest level of college football.
