I just did 3 miles at lunch today. LOL. I could have gone longer but a cramp and time cut me short.

Yea, the beast. Im hoping the weather is decent for it. Ill be at the Burnet race in May also. I did that one last year and it was a blast! Super nice ranch they have the race on.

Yea I think the devil race was just a gimmick for halloween.

They have the unltra beast in vermont which is a full marathon then they have the death race which is 24 hours.

    Hey Y'all!

It's my first time posting in here. My wife and I both grew up in the DFW area (Arlington & Garland) and are hoping to move back to Dallas in 6 months or so. We currently live in Denver and have been here for about 6 years. We'll make the move once our fixer-upper house is ready to go on the market and one of us lands a full-time position in Texas.

In an effort to get a jump start on things, I wanted to drop in, say hi, and find out if any of you are in the accounting/auditing (me) or teaching (wife) fields. If so, it'd be awesome to hear from you and I'd like to ask you a few questions about the job markets there, if you don't mind.

    Thanks!

fuck that lol the only way im running 3 miles is if someone is chasing me with a knife and even then i'd most likely say fuck it around 1.2ish miles. actually you could probably trick me into running that much playing football.
of no help but to say welcome home

Thanks! We're looking forward to being home again. We love it here in CO, but would rather be closer to family when kids come along in a couple years. Any good wheelin spots nearby?

It'd be cool to meet the DFW crowd sometime after we get there.
