Yes it was and we welded it together. I love the bumper and got lots of compliments. And functionality was great. It saved my truck.

Thanks! I work with animals and was actually a vet tech for years so I checked him out very thoroughly. He was sore but no major injuries. This morning he is running around like a mad man and playing just like he should be :) as if nothing happened! He jumped right into my truck this morning to go get coffee so luckily he's not overly traumatized. I did worry about him being nervous about getting back in but he didn't even think twice! He's only a year old so he is still pretty flexible and hard to break at 120+lbs :) thanks for asking though! He's my baby and was one of my main concerns, its hard to explain to a dog what happened lol

My wife used to work as an assistant at VSC in Lynnwood, which is the emergency and specialty hospital. She spent about a year in oncology followed by a few more years in the ER. It is from there that we got most of our furry children. Se now works in pet insurance for Healthy Paws. Sounds like you are the same as us, in that you don't have a dog, you have a 4 legged child.

Anyone have much experience with insurance claims? I feel like my adjuster is impossible to get ahold of.. still haven't gotten my truck to a shop :( and I really wanna get it fixed and go find snow! I found a little bit yesterday but didn't push it since my truck isn't 100% and I'm too nervous to make it worse...

    Think of it this way:
If you play in the snow and bump something before insurance gets the truck fixed, then it happened in the accident, and gets fixed under the insurance claim.

As for dealing with adjustor, call and leave a message. Give them a time limit that they can tell you where you can take your truck or you will take it to a shop of your choice and have the bill sent to insurance.

Lastly, I think we should get our dogs together sometime. Enzo, the black dog, could use a play buddy.

Who are you insured with? If you need it, I can probably get you the help you need; my family works in the independent insurance adjusting business.

    Awesome truck!
How do you like the bumper? And how hard is it to weld together?

Thanks, I called an left a message today and haven't heard back. Gonna wait a couple more days I think and take it to a shop next week. I have been driving it, I like the way u think haha.. and yes my pup always needs a playmate! Its hard to find dogs that will play with him since he's a giant and has a lot of energy!

Thanks, I'm with statefarm. For now lol after this I may be looking somewhere else. They have been less then helpful.. I'm patient but would like some sort of contact!

Love love love the bumper! I always get comments about it. And it took one afternoon to weld and grind it all. Figuring out all the pieces was a lil challenging but not impossible!

Went to tinkham up I-90 yesterday :) lots of snow there! Stayed on the main path since I was the only truck. Stopped at Snoqualmie falls too! That was awesome.
