Either way for me 4x is cheaper. The benefits with his is it's straight weld on with no other assembly required.

True. I have a friend who can weld mine on and adjust them to my liking. I do however love how simple this guys is. It's a very simple low profile design that's tight to the truck. It doesn't look like it would be an issue when getting in and out. I know if I get the ones like brads I will probably need to add fill plates/grip tape so my fiance doesn't accidentally bang her shin getting in or slipping on it.

 

Let her bang her shin....lol.... it will be the 1st and last time it happens. ..lol..... nah....jk

 

My wife learned to hop out and not slide down specially after the lift.... a few weeks ago she was walking around w dry pewp mud on her ass and legs that she scraped off the car when she was getting off the car...

Agreed. I like the light pattern of the retrofits, and the benefit of having HID. I'm not completely sold on the BHLM though and prefer the "smoked chrome" that I have right now. Tires are next on my mod list and that's probably not going to happen until spring.

Haha my wife does the same thing. She also uses the sliders as a step, knowing that she needs to be careful since they can be slippery when wet/dirty.

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE HREW WITH NO ISSUES....

 

Only trucks that should have three slider mounts are reg cabs period. These trucks are to long and heavy otherwise. Other fab shops have tried and failed with three legs. Go back to the necro threads and you will see. Sliders bent up.

Yea that sucks ass... My escrow went up too.. My monthly payment of $2000 has gone from $300ish in extra principal to around $100 in extra principal.

 

Are u paying the shortage in one shot or spread monthly? I'm going to pay it in one shot this time, but I'm also going to start putting extra money for the escrow account. At end if you end up with an overage you can dump it on the premium

 

If that's your goal you're better off putting the extra money into your principle. You'll pay less interest that way, however little it may be. If however you want to put extra into escrow to try and keep ahead of next year's inflation then that's ok. But no sense in having money not work for you sitting in an escrow account if you're going to dump it into principle after a year.

 

I plan on putting extra on both principal and escrow on a monthly basis, then if it the extra escrow is not needed at the end of the year, I can use the refund towards even more principal. ...

 

That sucks. Mine has been dropping the last couple years. Down from $1,550 to around $1,400 now.

IMO unless you guys plan on living in your houses till you pay them off and already have a years salary in the bank collecting interest paying extra on your mortgage principal is not a good idea at all.

Make sure you guys have a emergency fund with at least a years salary in it before paying into stuff like that. I learned the hard way.

Shit happens in life and what good is a mortgage that you paid the principal early on if you need immediate income due to an illness or other freak happening.

If you have a years salary saved up well then pay that fucker off early.

I have Relentless Hybrids with 4 legs custom notched around the cab mount so they sit as far forward as possible. Had a buddy booger weld them on 4 years ago and still no flex in them.
