question on 7100 short body billies..

    i want to get the 10 in short body bilsteins... question is does the shot have full 10" of travel? how does it do that with a 8" body:confused::confused::confused:

    I dont think it has a 8" body
    the extended length is 24.31 (24.29 on some sites)
    the collapsed length is 14.21 (14.06 on some sites)

    not sure what number is correct :lol:

    But I'm saying usually it's 16 25 idk shit is confusing it's exactly what I want but making sure I get 10" of stroke

    Toytec 16" coilovers with Tundra Bilstein 5100s, Light Racing UCAs, Alcan Leafs with Orbit Eyes, 12" Bilstein 7100 short Bodies, ARB rear locker, 33x12.5 Duratracs, CBI sliders, Bushwacker fender flares, self made front bumper, M8000, Vision X 6.7" Hi/Lo Beam HIDs, full skids, Inchworm dual case setup - 15º clocking
    ^Yeah, you'll get your 10" of stroke out of them. You'll basically have 24.25 extended and 14.25 compressed. Blackdawg is running them now and is really happy with them, too.


    One word of caution is that they come with spherical bushings instead of poly. You'll have to press those out and press some poly ones in once you get them. Check out the last page of my build thread, and you can see how TimmyB did his.

    why take the bearing out? on my last truck i just use the nice bearing and spacers

    funky. i sware mine came with 9/16" heims. and now that i think of it, i was putting on new shock mounts too so thats probally why i dont remember this issue lol
