My door rattle is the panel for the controls for the windows/locks etc. I just wedged a small piece of something in between the panel and door

Help me understand what you just said. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I just want to know what you did so I know if I should do it. :)

Bought me a used camper shell and put it on the truck. Needs paint, new latches and a seal. 160 bucks. Skill-Craft. Fits just right against the back of the cab, and even has carpet that pretty much matches the interior of the cab. I'm stoked! :headbang:

The only reason why I upgraded my head unit was for hands free calling.

I would damn near kill myself trying to unravel my earbuds to plug into my phone when I received calls.

The unit I went with is this one's predecessor:

    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_105KDX250B/JVC-KD-X250BT.html

Works great. Easy to use. Easy to install and cheap.

Crutchfield did upgrade my bluetooth mic, for free, to the Sony one. Works great.

Have you tried tightening the bottom bolt on side of the door (that lines up with the jamb)?

Seems to be a common fix.

The rattle usually is the heater vents and a piece of 3/8 rubber tube the length of the dash works pretty well.

You can wedge it in right between the dash panel and the windshield.

It's a tight fit in between the dash and glass. That's why they use lil 3/8" tubing. U planning on cut the buke innertube? I keep saying I. Gonna fix mine, but then I'll just hear something else so...meh

Heading up to DTF headquarters sat to do solid motor/trans mounts and gussets....then I will be able to stretch her legs finally.

It's really been killing me not being able to use it after all the work.

Okay, cool! Thanks! Looks like good stuff. I need to take my front skid plate off and paint it. Then maybe I'll hit it with this stuff and see how it does. Should be good stuff to use on the e-brake lever and spring as well, I'd think.
