Thank! I was very happy that the wiring fit in that groove. Crom, you are correct. I just used electrical tape for now but I do plan on cleaning it out and maybe a better tape or possibly silicone. I haven't gotten a chance to use it at night so I will let you guys know as soon as I do.

Incase anyone wants to know the mounts are from Yakima. There is a single bolt that holds it from underneith which is a PITA to get to. They come off of a rain gutter mount or the old 4runner mounts.

The sub-zero temps here in Denver have killed my 5 year old battery, soooo I picked up a Autocraft Platinum AGM battery from Advance Auto. 30% off with coupon code TRT30. I think it came out to about $140.

Like was said previously, there are accessories for iPads that already have magnets. I'm a borrower not a pioneer, I take others peoples idea and use them as my own. Search "ipad mini car install" and what you can find is truly amazing( Google is the 8th wonder of the world.) There is a company http://shop.soundmanca.com/ where you can buy what i'm doing. They also have videos of how to do it yourself on youtube for way way cheaper than they sell it for....this is my route ;) I'll keep you all updated.

A few little things today but still exciting. First off, geared up for the holidays with some lights around the bed (something Ive done in the past with my other cars)
Found out my tonneau cover came in while i was at work and rushed home but can't put it on right now because of the lights (realized after i put the lights on)

I added the Curt 31313 front receiver to my 2009 Tacoma DC. I had to remove the skid plate (metal plate) which was the hardest part because I did not jack it up. Crawling under the front and removing 6 bolts. Took about 40 mins to remove (I do everything painstakingly slow and meticulous). Installed and tightened new hitch and used it today to push my boat trailer in my side yard!

Yesterday I added a Magnaflow 50 series muffler, K&N air filter and A-1 Towing mirrors (just got a new travel trailer). The tow mirrors are OEM fitting and took about 30 mins to install (so easy). A-1 has a video on youtube showing you exactly what to do to install these mirrors (they flip up for a tall view).

The Curt is so cool, I love it already and don't miss the skid plate at all!:)

Pretty simple actually, I spread these around the bed sides http://www.command.com/wps/portal/3...-Clips?N=5924736+3294737335+3294529207&rt=rud
and i faced each one the opposite way from the next so the string was weaving and they stay in there real well without any other reinforcement. as far as the cb, they stay on there pretty good just wrapped around a few times but yeah i used one zip tie at the top and bottom for safe measure. then of course plugged it into the bed outlet and stuffed excess into the cubby
