Morning all... Wonder where this country is heading. Watching the today show yesterday morning and they interviewed a young "single" mother who is PREGNANT with her second kid...she works at Wendy's and makes $8.25/hour plus public assistance and Medicaid. And she wants more money from her employer.... Where the hell is her Boyfriend or husband!!!!If shes not getting any support from them, there is a definite flaw in the system....oh wait, it's the gov't that oversees the extras shes getting... If you can't afford the kids, keep your legs together....because the tax payers are tired of supporting them!!!!

 

Think her parents might be part of the problem as well, Ken.

Probably overloaded due to black Friday and cyber Monday!
This electronic age aint all its bragged up to be!

Seeing this all the time.
Young single girl pregnant; father already has another kid with a woman ; both working at min. wage, or father doesn't even have a steady job; he "MAY" be paying child support for the first kid. (HA! can't be too much on min. wage)
NO PROBLEM! The govt. (taxpayers) will take care of us.
I also wonder where this is going to take us, and I don't think it's going to get better.
I keep thinking about "all my babies mammas"!

Desmond Hatchett is 29 years old and lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. His claim to fame? He has fathered 21 children, who now range in age from newborn to 11 years of age. The brood of youngsters have eleven mothers – which would seem to indicate that this guy is popular with the ladies and has been very busy procreating.
Hatchett fathered four children in one year – twice. He isn’t able, on his minimum wage salary, to support them all – much to the displeasure of the state of Tennessee. They hauled him into court last Friday, where he appeared on the docket eleven times – representing 15 of his 21 children.
The state can only take 50% of Hackett’s month pay, and when divided twenty-one ways, it isn’t paying for much. He brought $400 to court with him. Court records indicate that he must pay the women a monthly sum ranging from $25 to $305. When his paycheck is garnished, these women are actually receiving an average of $1.98 per month.
Under the circumstances, it appears that the financial burden rests squarely on the shoulders of the good citizens of Tennessee….and their tax dollars.

I think a fitting punishment would be to make him live with the 11 women and the 21 kids.

Our dear beloved Governor of Pa. wants to put 500,000 more low income people on Medicaid.

 

Good idea Cap, but they would only sell the broom and shovels to get more drug and booze money then get pregnant by low income males and then that would be more kids we will have to support....
