For anyone interested, Justin and I will be swapping out his springs on Saturday at my house. We will run out to the arsenal to use their spring compressor, so not sure when we will be back from there. I can post on here when we have a more solid time.

BamaToy and Arrowshot if you guys are interested in doing some wrenching on yours, come on down. I have a garage and a decent selection of tools. We have probably done 10 front shock/UCA installs, 3 rear leaf replacements and one transfer case replacement here along with tons of smaller projects, including BHLM and Satoshi's. Send me a pm with your phone number and I can text you my number and address.

Between your old truck being modded, returned to stock, the new one modded, modded some more, modded again and now this time I at least count 6 times.

That's right, you missed out on three of them on the old truck. spacer --> billies and eibach--> spacer

Think it is safe to say we know our way around the front of one of these trucks!

In Huntsville. Waiting for a CBI Bushmaster bumper but don't expect that it will be in by Christmas. Are you with the Gyrenes? We will be down in Panama City for Christmas so guess will miss you on this trip over. I'm getting less apprehensive about doing this and keep pulling info to make sure it is done right. Looking over the posts and it looks like a number of people are using the Hobby Shop on the base to get things done?

Finding a good mechanic around Hunstville when I first moved here in 2004 was somewhat of a chore although I did a lot of the normal maintenance myself. Let me know about the install party as I would like to get a chance to meet with a few others. Spend a lot of time hunting deer this time of the year and my rig is not completely set up yet for extended camping like I want it but once I get my CBI bumper installed I will be ready for some trips. Will continue to watch this thread to see whats going on locally.

Shyt, I passed hell over 15 years back when I got married for the second time. If I wanted to "go to Hell" I would have to turn around.

If you are around on Saturday, shoot me a pm with your number. Justin will be up at my house doing a front spring replacement on his truck and we can give you a shout.

As for the shop on base, it is pretty cool. They have some lifts, alignment machines, paint booth, welders, mills and all kinds of things that can be quite helpful if you have a need for them. I have used it a few times before I built up my tool set and moved to a house with a garage. My main purpose for it now is the wall mounted coil compressor. You know Justin, I should just buy one and mount it in my garage. Charge you $10 for each time you need it and it will be paid for shortly.
