So I am constantly getting youtube emails like this, always hating on the truck vids...this one I am having fun with currently and wanted to share...

His original message to me...regarding one of my 0-60 vids

    "05ROUSHED"
That is way more than 4 seconds bud. More like 6. I've installed 2 of these kits, and they blow, not even 60 more hp. Noway in hell are u running 400 whp. Bone stock they have barely 180 at the wheels.

Me..."The time is most definitely 4 seconds flat. I have timed it multiple times and in multiple ways. The truck doesn't have just a TRD supercharger. It has a complete race exhaust, intake, smaller supercharger pulley, aggressive race tune, cam gears, built trans, weight reductions, E85, custom stuff...etc etc. The truck got even faster after the video you commented on. Doing 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and running 12.720 @ 106 mph. No one has come close to mine time in 3 years. And you're wrong about stock rwhp, its right around 202 rwhp. Do your research....bud"

    And his response....

Do my research??? I'm a Toyota master diagnostic technician BUD. AND I HAVE INSTALLED AND DRIVEN 2 of these trucks, one was a 2wd, single cab and it was slow as ****. And yes, if u time if, from the instant your speedo starts moving, it's a minimum of 6 seconds. And no, sorry but u do not have a 12 second Tacoma, that's on par with GT500's and cobras, and camaros. And ohhhh wowwww, can gears??? Hmmm what could that possibly do??? Eliminate vvt-I possibly due to it being useless on a boosted motor? Weight reduction??? What did u do, put a plastic hood on, and remove the rear seats? Whoop di doooo. "Aggressive" race tune? Um yeah, that kinda goes without saying, it's boosted. Tunes only give u so much. Race exhaust? Who told I that? The website u bought it from? Oh and just so u know, ur little "intake" is probably costing U horsepower. The stock setup actually creates higher intake velocity than a cold air setup. Noway in hell ur faggy Tacoma is running 12's, sorry. Post a vid of it

    Me...A master tech huh? lol

Second gens they did only come with 4 cyc. I believe it was 96 or 97 Toyota built 1st gen 3.4L v6 4x4. I think this Master tech guy is just blowing smoke.

The guy obviously has no idea what he's talking about.

It's just funny that he's talking about single cab TRD SC when that hasn't been offered since '98 (might be wrong on when they cut the V6 out of reg cabs).

1st gen vs 2nd gen isn't a fair comparison, the "master tech" is full of crap

With very few exceptions, those who reveal their credentials to prove their point usually are FOS.

"Master mechanic" or "ASE"... your statements and accomplishments will show your credibility... your title is meaningless.

That vid was an 18th mile run. Boosted Tacomas put about 94 hp to the wheels.
