Would anybody in the area that's good at installing suspension be willing to help me out at some point? I plan to get some new leafs here soon but there's nobody local that I know that could help...

Would just like to have an extra set of hands to help things go a little faster!

The rear srpings are pretty easy.
Cut off the ubolts, drive out the front spring pin, drop the rear shackle, assembly is the reverse of that ;)
Don't do what I did, and think you can press the old bushings out of the rear shackle, they're bonded in there. I destroyed one in the press trying to get the bushes out and had to get a replacement. Just reuse what's there, or, order new shackles if you think your bushes are bad.
The fronts are harder, if you're going to do the struts yourself.
I don't have a coil spring compressor, so I ordered new top hats and bushes, and took the struts and coils to a buddy's shop and had him build those for me.
Then, you disconnect the sway bars, drop the old struts, and put in the new ones.

I'm only installing new leaf springs. Already have aftermarket setup up front.

I already know the steps needed, I plan to just cut all of it off instead of trying to save anything since it's been a Northern truck for most of its life.

I'd just like to have an extra set of hands.

That's me. I got on here and made a profile when I first bought my truck, but haven't been on here in awhile. I'll have to get on here and update info. Polymerhead gave me a heads up about your post. Thanks for the complement.

It's a sweet looking rig for sure.
Think I might have spotted PcBuilder14's truck as well on hwy 65 south of Sedalia the other day as well?

    If you guys would ever all want to meet somewhere;
I have a shop big enough to hold quite a few folks, and, a fridge in it that could hold some beer.
Conversely, I also live pretty close to Shakespeares South. They have a lot more beer, and, pizza.

    Well, that's not much money.
But, it's junk. Spacer up front leaves you with stock springs and rates.
And: that's one big a** spacer, to get 3"
Add a 3" leaf in the back just makes a choppy stock spring super stiffer.

    no thanks.
