    My brother & I built quite a few snowforts back in Illinois when we were kids. It was pretty easy to do with 2-3 feet of snow on the ground.

    clunk - a heavy, dull sound such as that made by thick pieces of metal striking together.

    Might be more of a thump. Both times it occurred, I was turning the wheel. Have to get out in the garage this weekend and see if I can find the problem.

    It seemed more like a clunk but it could be a thump. It wouldn't be a large stretch if it were. More testing would prove out which one it is.
