They are gorgeous...but don't tell me you have that "oh my truck has been injured, i have to have a new one immediately" bug. Lol.

If i went to full size, i'd want only a regular cab 6ft bed. And because i wouldn't be able to have the 6.2L with that wheel base, i'd just pile performance goodies on the 5.3

I had a 05 reg cab shortbed Chevy before the Tacoma it had the 5.3 thing was a power house for its size an weight.
The new Sierra is pure sex on wheels and I really like the Toyotas but I am a gm guy at heart so I'm thinking about it I've had the bug for awhile I normally get a new vehicle ever three years and it's about two and a half so I've been looking. I want a double cab so I can have the 6 ft bed if I get one. The 5.3 would be enough power for what I need I just miss the rumble of the ls type motor/the small block v8. Will see I've put a lot of money into this truck is what's holding me back.

The money in your truck? Well shit....time to start taking stuff off and make another "sold my truck, buy my shit off it" thread.

You can get a good bit out of it. You don't even have 30k on it yet....but it is entirely up to you. I love both choices even though i'm biased towards my tacoma.

Honestly my biggest problem with the king cab silverados/sierras is all the dash space and how much more gurthy everything is from the previous models. I feel like i'm in a f'ing lifted limo when i drive one. They are a little too big. That is why i'd want a reg cab 6ft bed to make a 4x4 race truck out of. :D

Is like to just keep my Tacoma it does have 35k on it. Hum maybe a motor swap in the future years ls swap best of both worlds I've seen it done. The bad thing about the reg cab short bed is I had to buy tires every year. Mine had 4.10 gears it goes loose all the time with very little skinny pedal and all I had done was intake an exhaust leveled wheels and tires.

I know all about that one. My first time being in a vehicle while someone was drifting it...was in a 98 GMC (350) reg cab 6ft bed that had intake, exhaust, hypertech tune, top end redone with better cams....it was a rear diff, tire, and universal joint annihilator. I would love to have had it...

You need a 1jz or 2jz inline 6 swap for your tacoma. And then you need to buy a reg cab tacoma to put your v6 (1GR) in.

X2 with a set of headers and a less restrictive exhaust set up. I just do not have 6K lying around.

I feel like I'm one of the only guys who loves FI cars, and wouldn't want a MKIV supra. haha I've seen really nice ones before, and I know they can be fast as tits, but it just seems like everyone that has one does the same things to them and it's all way too repetitive and played out for me.

I wouldn't mind having my friend's dad's Buick Regal GNX though. that car is fun as hell. I'd probably sooner buy an older Audi, Subie, or AWD Volvo though. I've got a thing for AWD and 4x4..

People may do the same thing to them in general but there are shit loads of parts and options to assemble into your own, just like our tacomas.
    Also, i wouldn't have a 1000hp track supra....i'd have a 500-700hp street supra...

Matt, i'm sure someone has modified a set of bolt ons very heavily...such as making a plate to bolt onto the bottom of the frame, boxing the frame there, or using twice as many bolts as comes with them. And why would toyota give you less shit about welding on their frame vs. bolting things to it?

One minute they say just rain, then ice, then snow and it all flips around again. The reality is that they don't know. Just saw a clone to my truck....06-08, indigo ink sr5, same cap, no fogs, no chrome mirror covers, temp tags and still on the dunflops.
