People wrecking on I5 going 40 mph. Some people don't understand the idea of not slamming their brakes on snow and ice. Watched one guy lock em up and force his way between another car and the guard rail, made his car a little skinnier.

We got about 4 where I am, and still snowing. Me and my boss took my work truck out for a city street rally stage lol. Its pitiful seeing how bad people are out their. But, I rather them go slow and stay to the right then wreck. I'm just to comfortable in this lol. Plus, its fun passing people at 55mph when their doing 15 lol.

Same here. Thanks to my gramps and me being a country kid, i learned to drive at the ripe old age of ten. Tractors, trucks, whatever had an engine.

He told me "go fast in the snow, then hit the brakes"......"see what you did there"?....."don't do that"

    LEGIT SHIT...R.I.P. Grampa

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
So true. I remember the Great Snow Storm of '11 we had up here. It was about 14", and I was stuck doing 20 on the freeway with the rest of the "sheep". As soon as I hit the exit to my house, I was doing about 55 and literally shooting roosts of snow about 10ft. high! I felt totally comfortable/confident driving in it. There was even a WSP on the shoulder that thought nothing of it. It was fun as hell and felt good to know that me and my Taco are badasses in the powder....

Icy/slush/hard-pack is a different story though

No doubt on hardpack. Went to Albany to get a truck and the plows made itnworse. Took the fluff off down to ice, its better to have a few inches of snow ontop versus just ice only. Damn city helping people who can't drive out

Bring that mother farking snow up to where I am! I have a 1998 ford e250 with 209200 miles for my company rig. The way I run it, I have 'ground hugging weight' and I will sink through any snow. Any snow here will make people panic first and traffic will come to a stand still, but wait a few hours and the roads almost empty out. Screw mall or preschool parking lots. I call i5 north and south for my playground in the snow.

Sounds like it is just about time for some 4 wheel drifting.
