    That;s just cardboard. I'm gonna either paint the shields or add a red LED. I have xB halos for the exterior too. Thought about doing the interior ones like above, but decided to keep it classic

    Mini h1 in 9006 socket. I cut the back of the housing to fit the projector already. Aiming is gonna be a pain

    What do you mean you cut the housing to fit the projector? Lol the mini H1 is able to go thru the original whole where the bulb goes thru and you have a nut that secures it. any pictures?

    Mini H1 kit does not involve any cutting of the housing :eek:


    for those who just got their recent shipments from TRS who got theirs installed or test fired, are you all having any ballast ingnition issues or are the headlights turning on the first try?

    no, you silly gooses the back of the housing is too long so you can't get the projector through #4runnerproblems so you have to cut the housing down to size. check out this thread from the dark side Im doing nearly the exact same thing, just with halos and demon eyes

    Also can't decide if it's worth doing LED demon eyes or just saying fuck it and painting the shield. Thoughts?

    well to be honest, i dont know how long your LED would last? Due to the fact that the HID bulb is hot, what if it melts the LED bulb? With the painting, all you need to worry about is to cure it properly before you seal everything up.

    lol so I got SMD's coated in epoxy meant to go in projectors (they are specified as demon eyes) so I'm not too worried. How effective is the painting though? I just don't like that it voids my warranty from TRS
