I have seen the trd off road alloys from a 2004 tacoma 4x4 on a 2nd gen tacoma. On this forum too. He sold his truck...from Nevada. Can't remember his name. Sorry. They looked really nice on his truck. Not sure if there were any dimensional differences though between the older wheels and the newer wheels. Offset, etc.

    Offset is different.
'09 will fit the '03, but I would test-fit the '03 wheels on the '09 before buying if they are 16" as there may be caliper clearance issues, but I think they fit. Seems to be aftermarket 16's that have issues.
The 17" Tundra wheels fit fine.

17 inch 5 spoke tundra rims look better on the second gens.

    Steelies should fit.

Again, the offset is different. I keep forgetting which way it goes, I believe the old rims will pull the tires in closer to the frame, but I honestly don't remember. It's like a half inch difference.

They do fit. I have them on my 07. They will sit 1/2 inch out not in. I have not had any problems with clearance or anything like that.
