    I don't know how you feel about Hyundai, but the wife and I bought a new Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo early this year and we really like it. A lot of bang for the buck compared to other SUV's I looked at and better quality in some cases. I never thought I would buy a Hyundai, but so far, I'm impressed. I didn't like the Subaru's only because I thought the interior trim wasn't as nice, kind of cheap. The "new" RAV4 wasn't out yet, but I looked at them when I bought the Tacoma, they're really nice also.

    We looked at the Honda CRV, Chevy Equinox, Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, Subaru's, and Hyundai and liked the Santa Fe the best for various reasons. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

    If you don't run the recommended fuel, you'll get detonation because boosted or " built" naturally aspirated engines run at high compression ratios. Most modern cars compensate by retarding timing. But at that point what was the reason to buy a forced induction car??

    The recommended gas is 87 octane, regular. I have 5000 miles on the car and so far no problems.
