from a broker or ticketmaster? I totally forgot they went on sale today, I've tried off and on all day with no luck. :( I'd be willing to pay a bit for them, I mean, pretty big one this concert will be.

Fixen to head out on hwy75 and see if anyone needs a helping hand. It's a total disaster up here by the river and people just wont stay off of it. Impulse red pre runner getting pulled out by a Z71 earlier. He got there before i could.

Edit: Victims so far are a Chevy 1500, Nissan Titan(the dude laughed and said we can try but i dont think your gonna pull me up this hill)

I tried going from arlington to weathetford today but the highway was blocked from stuck 18 wheelers and according to the chatter on the CB one was jacked knifed. Turned around in the median and will try again tomorrow.

I heard about 35 just north of denton. The bridges around here are bad. The ice frooze into mounds and its like driving over a boulder garden.

Good luck with that. 18 wheelers seemed to be having a hard time and it only takes one getting stuck on a bridge or incline to block the highway for hours.

    Bone stock for now....
We ventured out around 5. Made it a mile and my truck just started sliding even at low speed. We trurned around. Roads are much worse than last night. The sleet/snow accumulation melted and refroze as ice.

Yea its bad here, i would just be creeping along and the rearend would start sliding around. I have been out all day and this evening after the sun started going down it got real slick. I would stop and put it in 4-lo and 1st gear to go down steep hills. Otherwise i would gain to much speed and well, we know where that leads. If you just tapped the brakes it was coming around. I must say that i am thouroghly impressed with my Cooper AT3's. I have had them in snow and they were great but they did awsome on this slick ass shit.

Really glad I didnt go duck hunting this morning. I would have been stuck on 1-35 all day. Y'all hear about that truck that went over the guard rail and into lake Lewisville? Apparently 1-35N has been a parking lot all day.

Wow, this has been the first ice in my Tacoma.

I had a 4x2 '00 Dakota before this, so I was amazed on how east driving was in the taco.

Heading home Friday morning (I work nights) was a breeze, even though most streets were uncut at that time (Preston, Arapaho, Belt Line). 4-hi and ~36-45mph seemed to be the sweet spot.

Only spun a little once, and it was intentional in the parking lot.

I have seen a ton of jeeps on the road with all of this weather. I guess people leave them parked all year and bring them out for crap like this.
