Did you paint over the chrome bumper...or did you pick up a base model black bumper to paint.?

I asked the same thing a few posts up.

So I got rear-ended today. I was getting on the freeway waiting on the on-ramp because the meter was running. Next thing you know, I'm hit. The guy who hit me just so happens to be a very good friend of my younger brother's. He's paying for the bumper, but I told him that I might want the base model bumper instead of the chrome one due to my previous plans of getting it color-matched along with my grill surround. His father said they would be glad to pay for some of the color-match painting too.

 

i have chrome one in my garage if you need it, just come get it if you want it for free or anyone else who might need it.

Maybe he'll pay to have a chrome one sandblasted and powder coated. Seems like someone might pay you to take a chrome one.

Ya i saw your post, then i saw Baja's reply...but from what i remember Noe had a chrome rear bumper, not a black base model bumper. so thats why i asked if Noe got a base model bumper, or painted his chrome one
still waiting for an answer

Ah, gotcha. So any plans on that hood of yours? If I had the cash, I would be all over it. I would've had it painted with my grill surround and rear bumper.
