If you make them i'll take one like that. would love a small monitor like that instead of the big National Luna 1.

    Working on it.

The monitor itself should be easy. Well, the gauge part. In RC cars and other electronics. They sell the individual monitors and they are REALLY small.

So it can be done, just need a manufacturer to put all the tech in one spot.

No joke though, I am working on this to be manufactured. I might need to finish up some of the design myself and patent it so It is not ripped from my grasp.

A small handful of select mods.
Dual battery is on the list for 2014 so I will definitely be in the market for a compact monitoring system too.

Man that thing old be cool if you go it to work properly. Most likely never going to run a duel battery set up but that is a awesome idea

    Military Folding Litter/Camping Cot!

So I got my hands on a surplus of military folding litters. I am going to put a couple of them on my truck for SAR/Camping Cots and figured other Taco runners would dig them too so I picked up the lot of them.

They are not brand new but when new they went for $400. Now you can get them on ebay for what looks like $40 plus shipping.

They make excellent cots as they have feet that get up a few inches up off the ground. Add a pad to it and you are doing better than those ground sleepin chumps!

Anyhow, I'm hocking them for $20/litter + shipping.

P.S. In the pics I did not go to the trouble of locking out the hinges so the litter is not fully open, in case anyone was wondering why it doesn't look totally flat. If anyone has questions or wants different pics let me know.

The length of a litter is 90 inches or 7'6"

Yeah I have seen those too. They have a hole in the canvas and the bars unseat and it can be folded. These are the one piece model though.

    Yep wrapped man.

I spend the last few weeks building a chuck box/camp kitchen so I can stop hunting for my cooking $h*t in a plastic milk crate. It's a bit heavy, but fits perfectly on top of my sleeping platform inside my shell. The cast iron and propane stove fit in it like a glove! Built with 1/2" birch ply and dadoed biscuit joinery and glue. Dimensions are 24"x15"x20" (WxLxH) nested and it's 36" tall when assembled. I have since polyurethaned it and rubberized the ends of the legs for durability. Time for a camping trip!

Click the screenshot for a video of it in action!

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
He's not lying. I usually steal one from the medics for sleeping.

His are the old ones, upgrade from the canvas, but the same frame.
