God bless uncle Roy[IMG]. I am sure he has a lot of stories from his day that changed thousands of lives. Hey Jim, your pal should video a question and answer with Uncle Roy. That way, when he is gone, his history and story will live on(if he'll talk about that day). Many Veterans wouldn't talk about the events of that day. God bless all the Men and Women that served during that period.SALUTE

Lost my phone, TV and internet on Friday night about 9:30 p.m.. still had no services in the morning. Put in a call to Verizon at 7:30, had a tech there at 1:15p.m. and back in business by 2:00. Hats off to Verizon on this one. He replaced the whole unit in the garage. Internet seems faster too[IMG]. Got the Christmas tree up and decorated yesterday. Now to get some presents for the wife??? What to get her is the question!!!![IMG]

I have the same problem with my wife. I think I picked up a couple of sweaters for her. A package came from LL Bean and she said to wrap them up and put them under the tree.

Awesome video Susan. Thank you for sharing it.

Good morning Ken, Tom, and all you fine folk. Hope everyone's having a nice weekend.

Going down to Anchorage today to pick up grand kids and bring them back to help put up and decorate the tree and spend the night. :)

    Morning everyone!!

Mike, I have two Pads - one is mine and the other from work. Mine does not have a keyboard and is great for what I do. I have a keyboard for my work iPad but only because I do a lot of email and some editing of documents with it. Lynn has one and does not have a keyboard - she loves it and does just fine with the on-screen keyboard.

Cold day here with some snow and freezing rain coming tonight. Is it Spring, yet?

I feel your pain Mike. My wife wants an auto start for her SUV, but doesn't want it installed / bought 'til after Christmas because she's already spent a bunch on the kids/grand kids; she's the money manager frugal one, which is good because I am not :anonymous: . But now I'm trying to figure out what "little" things to get her for under the tree. Palmer (our little town) has their Colony Christmas Days celebration next weekend; I'm gonna hit the craft booths and hope I find a few things.

Uh ... No Sir ... Unfortunately we have a little while to go yet. ;)

    Good Morning.

Good luck with your hunt Cap'n.

My great uncle hit the beach at Omaha. My understanding he was one of a very small number to survive from his unit. Only heard him talk about it once at a family reunion when he had a few drinks in him. I was about 10 yrs old at the time. Wish I'd been a little older to comprehend and appreciate a little more of what he said. But I can remember the emotion of it as if it was yesterday. I recall my father wiping tears from his eyes on the drive home and explaining that Uncle Clinton had never spoke of it before. RIP Great Uncle Clinton.
