    just tried to paint my shrouds and it did NOT work at all... the paint looks like pewp, gonna soak them in some bleach later and give them a bit of a sanding. fuck

    paint adhesion spray helps too if you have some :)

    This was the problem!! I have adhesion promoter and it must have fuxed with the chemicals in the paint.

    I used rustoleum satin black paint&primer rattle can. The headlight bezel came out awesome.

    Hmm, I used krylon fusion. The only thing I don't like about it is the "satin black" came out semi gloss black

    yeah mine is more of a semi too, but I like that. Matches my sliders and shit. Used bleach to strip the paint/chrome off my bad paint job, well, most of it.

    The FXR projectors don't ever really stick. It was common in earlier generation Mini's but an FXR sticking is very very rare

    Just realized I didn't get a ballast test lead with my shipment.. I'm sure it isn't much necessary when installing right?

    all it is just a wire to test.. You can use your actual wire harness to test also, just have to set it up a bit.. hehe

    How are you mounting them? Wires? I was thinking of cutting the wires for the halos and slipping them in the existing slits on the bottom of the shroud then splicing them back together
