The real question is how many rigs can Matt's new driveway hold and is there room to deploy RTTs?

My wife saw me watching an RTT video. Saw it was a 1-5min setup and kept saying thats cool. Started asking me more questions about it. Weight capacities, bugs, safety, rain, weather, sheets...\\\

Said, "might be better than the tents. i am tired of all the sand and dirt we get in them."

    She sold herself...

The wife bought me a Galaxy Tab 3 on Friday. I promptly loaded Backcountry Navigator and Co-Pilot to use it as my GPS off road and on road. I am currently taking the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest MVUM and converting ALL legal trails to KMZ files that are color coded based on the vehicle, seasonal, and special designations. I am using actual Forest Service 7.5 minute topographic maps as the base layer to determine the actual trails vice the poor ass MVUM overlay; I am amazed at the number of trails that are not on the MVUM.

Once I finish up the conversion, I will provide a Google Earth link for access to the KMZ file.

Additionally, I would like to plan a North to South multi-day trail ride for 757 Toyota 4x4 with as much time off-pavement as possible, which is the real reason behind my undertaking the conversion task.

Take her to the OBX and camp when all the mosquitoes are out. Have her set up a tent with them biting and then track some sand in the tent. Pull up your cell phone when she starts complaining and start watching the RTT setup videos and the bug awnings. She will have a quick change of heart as she is trying to keep them skeeters offf.

Could also start taking lunch to work, and put that ~$20 per day you spend on snack and food aside. 5 days a week times $20 is $100 - 4 weeks in a month roughly, is $400 - two to three months and you have the funds for that RTT. unless it is the Mckinley like I am eying. But still. $1200 saved up over a couple months is a nice kitty to have towards the tent you want.

They might even take a deposit on it and lock you in on the free shipping and such!
