I drive a 2001 Tundra Limited TRD daily and will continue to do so.

I ordered a Ford Raptor in Jan, picked it up in May, put 2300 miles on it, and will be shipping it to Vegas to it's new owner this week. It's an awesome truck, just isn't for me.

I'd like to buy a 2014 Magnetic Grey, or possibly white Tacoma TRD Sport (i want the scoop). It will probably be a double cab, but I'm not opposed to a access cab.

I'd like to lift it about 3" with maybe some 33" tires and aftermarket wheels. I'd also like to put an ARB winch bumper and warn winch on it. Maybe even have it painted to match the truck.

I've yet to go drive one, but I'm assuming I will like the size of it, the seats, and how it drives and handles.

I'm open ot advice and opinions as to which cab modle to get, where to buy the bumper and other accesories, what lift to get and why, and what price to try to get the truck at.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome! A little more info on how you will use the truck would help (Towing, hauling stuff, what type/how much off road use, DD, etc.)

I love my double cab, but I need a full back seat (Planning on kids in the next 2 years or so). I mainly use the bed for hunting, odds and ends household chores, and carrying my bikes, so the short bed was fine. If you are set on the Sport, you have the option of the double cab with a long bed if you need the extra space inside and out.

There are quite a few good 2.5-3 inch lifts out there, but again, it sort of depends on what you want to do with the truck. One of the best all around ones for a decent price is the Old Man Emu Lift by ARB. If you want to save some money, get a good ride, and have some adjustability, you can go the Billstein 5100 route. There are a ton of more expensive options, too, such as Icon and King. There are a lot of good threads with 2 or 3 inch lift in the title, but hopefully someone with a little more experience in this area can chime in. Good luck

I have 5100s on my Tunrda. The Tacoma will be used in mixed driving. I do a lot of hunting on gravel and dirt during the winter months.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Of the two color choices buy a white one. Class all the way.

I will probably go with the short bed. I do want the towing package and V6.

Unless they've updated the MT for 2014, I'd recommend the AT.

    I want the auto tranny.

I loved the Raptor, it was just way too nice of a truck for what I do.

I want the scoop and it only comes with the TRD Sport, doesn't it???

Although I'm considering going with aftermarket wheels, one of the factory wheels is very ugly in my opinion. The small spoke looking ones. I don't remember the package that they come with. I haven't had time to go to a dealership to look, drive, and compare options on the lot. There isn't a dealership in my town.

I'm not sure if this is a members truck. I came across it on google looking at pictures.

I like the bumper, lift, and tires on it.
