Shut guy up at work #2

Come to find out, after I said hey man, I don't see the point in where your coming from, and why your hating on the Taco.. Long story short. After talking to another tech, he comes off as jealous and pissed at the fact I won't take my truck stump jumpin and through the mud.. (Like I did with my 2000 model)

Truck ended up breaking down again for transmission failure and he didn't know how to drive basically melting the gears or flywheel to something. I just over herd. I'm 24 yrs old. And trust me don't want to damage anything out of stupidity or a pissing contest. I'm pretty by the book as far as laws and rules go.

Thanks for the humor guys, I know it's not worth it but its the ego factor coming out!

If he blew up the Silverado, ya... the 4L60E is a decent trans, but it has some quirks and if maintenance is ignored, it'll smoke on you.

Best to consider the fact that since the first one got closed, its a statement that says...shut the hell up and rethink your posting.

He blew the transmission trying to climb a hill. Melted or welded the internal components/gears together haha. And it's done with and over with I just mind my own business and do what I can control, and stay out of trouble. Dont get carried people !,
