Hey man my wife and I will throw up a prayer for you tonight.

I personally think that unless you have changed both the intake and full exhaust, then tunes are flat garbage.

Unless you have a diesel. Then you can unlock stupid horsepower with a Bullydog kit.

i maybe having to have surgery sometime in the not so far future!

i think the tumor i had in my ankle as a kid as grown back, (well i had one in both ankles, and one in my left knee, had them all removed way back when. i remember my knee was the last one i had done and that was like 5th grade.) but my right ankle has been bothering me a little the past month or so, so got to try and see a doc soon and will have to have a MRI and see who it is. it was never cancer or anything, but it can “eat” away and the bone and shit so if it’s back i’ll have to have it taken out and will be in a cast and laid up for a good 6 to 8 weeks.

don’t bother.... he has a toyota with 6” DB lift that he wishes sounded like a v8 and a POS jeep......

 

I mean, I wish mine sounded like a v8, but i'm not gonna try and tune it...i'm probably just gonna put a muffler on it at some point.

 

Wish SCT would would make tuners for out truck. I had the mustang tuned and loved my sct. Could flash it anytime I wanted for long traveling for better mpg or when I took to the track just load up the race tune and good to go.

And Zach... Didn't you screw up your ankle a few months ago and refused to go to the dr about and see if it was fractured? I hope it's nothing major but you should definitely get that crap taken care of.

I know my grandparents & parents always wanted to get back into things sooner than they were supposed to because they wanted to take care of themselves and didn't like having people wait on them.

 

haha yeah i did.....lol but yeah i will be soon. i got to go to a new primary care doc first since i’m 21 i can see the someone anymore.

 

Yeah hes a very strong person. And the Dr sat down with him and my mom before he committed to doing this and told him that first he had to pass a few health tests, if he failed them then he wouldn't do the surgery. Well he passed all of them. Then the Dr said that he needed a promised commitment that my gpa and mom both understood how hard it would be for the next 2 months and that neither of them would give up on the recovery process. Of coarse they are both 110% down with that so he set a surgery date. First things first ...... Making it through the first 24 hrs after surgery. That's when stuff goes wrong like strokes, heart attacks, seizures, ....... For an older person, those are pretty dangerous things

 

Depends on the platform being tuned. Most older motors aren't very efficient so getting more from a tune with stock components can be easier. Most new motors are very efficient so getting more from them can be harder. Then you take motors like a 5.0 were they are dialed down so much to reach best mpg and meet all emission and smog testing. Or a motor like the FA20 (frs motor) which is also dialed down to get best mpg and tuned with a very conservative and safe tune. Just by retarding or jumping ignition timing and messing with afr through different rpm ranges, people are getting 8whp and 6wtq out of a stock 2.0 motor. It's all about the base platform

yeah sorry, i been trying to keep my mind straight at work today. Anyway my mom just called me and said the surgery went perfect, as expected, and they just moved him into ICU. Now is the "oh shit" time. People dont die on the operating table, they die in the ICU. During an operation, you have a machine keeping you alive. Once removed from that machine, you have your own body to keep you alive. Hes supposed to stay in there for the next 48 hours under anesthesia and if he makes it through that time period then his chances of being fine start to grow.

i dont wanna sound redundant but anytime that yall happen to randomly think about this please say a quick prayer. Hes got a lot of people prayin for him as hes a pastor for 70+ years now but there can never be enough care. If anything yall provide me with a lil moral support so (in a non gay way) it means a lot. Ill keep some updates coming. Im expecting good ones
