    so i have ordered the fxr kit and i think it might have the bad ballasts. my question is that when i go to install them the ballasts will still work even if i have to turn the headlights on and off a few times? just because i need my truck for work and its dark every morning

    The problem is not with every ballast, but yes, in general, if they don't light off at first, they will after cycling.
    If you are having trouble, use the test connector and go directly from the battery hot and ground to the ballast to confirm... grounds can be touchy on the Tacoma. I did not get a good ground from the radiator support.

    im planning on doing the Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1 xb35 5000k on my 1998 gen 1 tacoma. whats the best shourd for the mini just the standard mini gatling gun? also does anyone have a good write up for the gen 1 retro fit have found many gen 2 writes up i would guess they would be the same process just different lights

    was about to buy these buy decided to wait for the group buy when in 2014 will the group buys start up again?

    I'm wanting to switch my retros to have my halo on outside but I don't want the gatling gun with it on the outside cuz it'll be too big looking in my housings. Should sale my whole setup and go with mini h1s so I can get mini gatling guns with XBs on the outside of shroud
