It's a good suggestion but I have finals and crap to do. It would be common courtesy for someone to say they got their gift. Maybe even a fucking thank you to the person who spent the time to find a gift and send it to them. It shouldn't be my responsibility to make sure people come through on the commitments they made. As much as I'd like to police everyone, I just don't have the time or patience....

Now, 99% of you are very good about the gifts and are very appreciative, which is why I love the forum, but there's always someone who's a dick and is unhappy about what they get or don't care to thank whoever gave them their gift.

It is what it is, and something will be done about it if someone doesn't get a gift. I don't mind banning people from participating.

Received my gift today. Pretty sweet travel container and screwdriver set as well as a bunch of stickers from Bend, Oregon. Big thanks to ILoveOregon for the awesome gift.

I hope you can use a decent knife. I wanted to do some more research but my company just got hit with a stupid busy time and I'm putting in like 120 hours a week right now. But I thought the fire hydrants might get a chuckle.

My stuff still gets delivered to my parent's house, but they're pretty good about telling me when I have a package. I'm eagerly waiting. I shipped mine today and my gift should be heading westward!

Good to know. It will be awesome in my trail rig. There was also a note that everything was made in the USA then it was edited to say designed. I see that the hydro flask was designed in Oregon. Nice local touch to the gift.

I get it man. I agree it shouldn't be anyone's responsibility to "babysit" to make sure everyone follows the rules. I'm just crazy, and thought it would be nice to SEE who has gotten their gift and who hasn't.

That way if anyone doesn't receive a gift, or feels the need to be an inconsiderate ass and not tell anyone they received it, they can be shamed and publicly humiliated on TW.

Would anyone object to me starting a new Thread just for tracking/verification purposes? I don't mind updating it when people post-up that they got their gift, but I don't necessarily want to be the enforcer if/when "issues" arise.

I'm happy to do the cracking down, just not organizing. You make the thread/list, and I'll be your muscle.
