I just speed to get away from idiots... or go around the corner really, really fast and make the tires go "SWAAAAAAAAAA-AAA-AAAA-AAA'
    that really freaks people out.

If someone f**ks with me, I don't get mad... I just get in behind them and follow them till they sh*t themselves

Don't turn off traction control then Mike. With traction control on, sliding turns/having fun is off.

This will be my first experience driving in the snow with a vehicle with a computer system.. last time was in 2011 with my 97 yota lx 2wd and I still got around fine on base. Although I had snow tires without studs..

This time will be with my Prerunner and hankooks.. im excited :D

make sure you lock your rear diff to take the turns when it is snowy and icy out...that makes your truck happier

I advise to NOT lock your diff. When you lock your diff you are making both tires turn at the same rate, if one starts slipping the the other one will too. Especially down hill I know for a fact you want it unlocked. Coming down a mountain road I almost went off the side when they started slipping my back end went sideways. Stopped it 2 feet before the drop off.

Not a good idea to be driving around corners with a locked diff.

Kind of defeats the whole point of an unlocked differential.

    Just sayin'.

in the snow, on a flat open parking lot or big driving area, lock your diff while taking turns. makes drifting and donuts easier and faster. that whole open differential thing is over rated in the snow.

on another note, are there any thoughts on another snow run? i have thought about taking my truck out with chains. i also have a friend who would like to make it out, but she only has a mustang.

What's up men, Instead of 0545 formation to work.. it is now 0930 due to a little snow. haha.

I can't lock my differential, I got LSD and i left it on, and it was pretty nice driving around I tried fishtailing a few times and it caught it.. Drove pass full size trucks like a boss etc etc.. in my Prerunner. So far it was fun.

Edit - Additionally, does anyone know for ordering those seat covers which one do we have, it says w/ dr lumbar w/ passenger fold-flat ... do we got both? im confused lol.

On my TRD seats the passenger one does not fold flat, driver side does have lumbar support.

my inlaws taco has the factory locking rear diff. just a button to push left of the steering wheel, and it says not to use it above 5 mph. i tried launching their truck a couple times, once with diff locked, and the other as LSD, and the locking diff helps shoot out a little faster.

also happy to see that some people caught the joke about locking the rear end on snow/ice. on a serious note, to anybody who is new to 4wd on here, dont use 4wd because there is snow on the ground. don't put your truck into 4x4 until 2wd can't get you out. my wife was driving our truck awhile back when things were slick out, and she had the bright idea of putting it into 4hi, and she almost took out a stop sign for it. also remember that 4wd may help you go, and may even help you turn a little, but it doesn't help you slow down any faster.
