Black Sand Pearl factory paint - flattened "au natural" by tree branches.
    Saturday afternoon:

Installed a Canadian tire Ultra XD AGM battery. The closest thing I could find to an odyssey/sears platinum diehard in my area.

Put the woman in shotgun and went for a drive out some backroads after work. Did this:

Stripped my security wheel nut key and had to have it towed home where I just tapped a 3/4" 12 point socket onto the security nut and spun it off. Really secure...

Load range C, I guess that was too light hahaha.

Well the tire went flat inexplicably on a mild trail that I've travelled 100 times before. When I couldn't change the tire I had to ride it out to civilization where a tow truck could reach me, the tire didn't fair so hot. At a windchill of -40 and with the girlfriend with me I wasn't walking out lol.

The duratrac had about 200kms of use, waste of a tire. The ford dealership that I bought it from wouldn't replace it under warranty surprise surprise.

Put in a new battery today, a Sears Diehard, replacing the factory battery. It probably would have lasted the winter but it was getting a little harder to start in the colder weather.

Replaced the chrome front grill with factory painted MGM. Traded a TW member rear bumpers in favor of a black one, and decided the LED tail lights looked out of place w/o the chrome bumper. Traded for his base model lights (made his day I'm sure). I don't have a before picture of the grill, but truck looks a lot better now IMO. I was planning to paint the new bumper to match MGM, but now not sure. The black is starting to grow on me.

I never found the original cause of the flat. Once I discovered that I couldn't get the wheel nut off I threw everything in the box and drove out to where a tow truck could get me, which disintegrated the tire. Too dark and too much snow and too much cursing to think about what caused the flat at the time.

I was pretty surprised that it went flat. I didn't do anything or drive over anything out of the ordinary. There must have been a random nail hiding in that snow.

Removed my dealer (painted) pin stripe. Wasn't sure on the best way to remove it and everyone that posted here had vinyl. Stopped by a local body shop I trust and they had me use acetone... came right off and factory paint still looks fine.

    Crapy cell phone pics...

I also installed a mount for my iPad Mini. Used the Lifeproof cradle with a RAM mounts base. Right now it is being used for my music and work related stuff. Later I might also add one of the bluetooth OBD devices.

Finally change to synthetic oil after 3K miles on my taco. Those factory-installed filters were a pain to remove.
