    Finally got the skids installed.

I generally don't care much for stickers but I gave em all equal time on the belly skid...

Need to get the sliders welded on once I find a good deal on a welder.

Put a tire tube up in there and air it up until it puts so much pressure on it that is pops out! I've seen my buddy do it with his Chevy in that same spot, and it worked like a charm! I couldn't believe it how clean and easy it was! But be careful not to push the other side (inside the bed) out! ;) My buddy used a pretty small tube (about a foot in diameter with no air) and also had an air hose with the pressure controller that had an extension on it so that he didn't have to be close to the tube in case it blew up! :p Good luck!!!

The tires are 235/85/16 DuraTracs. Not quite a 33" tire. Not real big but they take me where I need to go and since skinny, I don't get hit so hard on mileage.

Thanks! I haven't done a build thread yet but I guess I should given that I've replaced/rebuilt about 1/2 the truck.

The tires look really good! I'll probably go with that size or 35s when I need new tires. The reds skids with the rest of your truck looks really good. Love the bedlined rocker panels too!

I took the drivers side side steps off today. Makes the truck look a lot taller but didn't realize how much I use them! Tried stepping on them and nearly fell and hit my head. Put the step back on right after. I guess functionality is a winner for me on this one

OUCH! that's a tough spot, I know.. There's not much access to the backside of that panel; but imo it looks like you could prob get a lot of the dent out using some other methods. Doesn't appear to be any creased metal which is a good thing. Look into paintless dent removal (PDR) in your area, lots of folks have had good results with it. Take it to a reputable body shop and see what they think.

    haha a little late
