The only thing is your only replacing a 1/3 to a 1/2 of the fluid for for what?most of your a/t hold around 12 quarts with the converter.i think this is why american car manufactures have so many tranny issues.u only drop the pan and refill with 4 or so quarts.leaving 8 quarts of dirty crap in there.again very nice job.not bashing u at all.i think i"ll stick to getting mine flushed at the dealer. :)

no worries jimbo, i know u never hate on a fellow superwhite scooped brotha, i'm too cheap to do it at dealer, so i'll just do the slow drain and refill like every oil change or so

i'm actually doing that this week to mine, before I wrestle my skids back on.

got 7 qts, so I can do 2 drain/fills at once and dilute the old stuff a little more. I expect that the fluid will look pretty good. if for some reason it doesn't, i'll do a full flush and fill at a later date.

If your considering icons, they have digressive valving, which makes them harsh on the road.

But....any high end coilover can be revalved to adjust the ride quality

They had less than 4000 miles on them...I think I was just experiencing a rough ride because of improper valving. Plus they were really noisy.

So I think I am going to try my hand at the fox 2.0's. I wont offroad my new truck too hard, so I am not worried about needing the absolute strongest coilover. Just the best riding on the road while being more capable then the stock trd stuff.

But the radflo 2.0's are a close second...they are only a bit more money. I haven't heard enough about them to be sure.

Another reason to avoid sway away is the red anodizing will fade to pink...lol, rather quickly too. Mine are only about a year old and they are all pink looking.

Got some PIAA yellow plasma ion bulbs for my fogs. They look a lot more yellow in person.

Remember, it's the bolt that IS NOT the drain for the oil.

For those who don't know, 4 months after owning the truck I went to change the oil. First time owning an auto in 10+ years, I figured the only bolt down there is the drain bolt, so I removed the first one I saw. 15min later I'm on the phone with Jason "ok, I know the oil isn't supposed to be Toyota red...so what am I missing here?"

I can still remember my laughter during that phone call. I knew it immediately when you called me and mentioned the red fluid. That was awesome.

Do you have a pump at DM to get out the ATF? Our trucks hold 12 or 13 qts.?

We have a pump to put it back in, but not to remove it.

So a couple days ago this tire just showed up in our parts department. They had no idea why or where it came from. They assumed since it appears to be practically brand new that it was to be sent back for tire kingdom warranty. Well that didn't pan out either. So now I just bought what seems to be a brand new toyo open country a/t for $65. Mounted it up for my spare so now I have a full size spare.
