We had a nest this summer, but the Stellar Jays were using it. Besides, I really don't see how a nest will help.

Nice! the rig looks great! I know you're not a fan of the wheels but I think they are awesome! ( look better than my MB special's) I'm stoked that I finally got the FJ spot!

Speaking of driving in the snow...

Headed back up to the Mendo national forest for a bit of fun snow wheeling and a little more firewood harvesting :) funnnnnnnn times. There was a perfect amount of snow up there, about 6-12 inches over a nice thick sticky mud base :D plenty of slippin and slidin, but no digging out or burying the truck. Plus bluebird skies! Couldn't ask for more.

If any of you North Bay folks (or anybody, really...) are interested in heading up let me know, I know stroM- was down to roll. We should go mess around up there.

Your Milgards have film? Mine are maybe 9 years old and still look new. Had the whole house done so it's not window location to sun..

The glass on mine are actually tinted (not film but slightly darkened glass like our trucks) as well as glazed with something called E Low Sun Coat. or something like that. I remembered it because of J Lo. HAHA.

Almost all dual pane windows use a film between the panes. Many are also filled with inert gas to help with insulation too. The front of my house is in direct sun during the day.

They finally put up a sign after years of people blindly following their GPS into deep snow for miles and miles up MET.

But they could have just put up one of these:

Where at in mendo? Have to get a permit for the wood cutting? Are you missing a TRD sticker on your rig?;)

    Thanks,
