Just got a great deal on a 2003 Tacoma. Maybe got the deal because it doesn't have a steering wheel tilt lever. Does anyone know if I can install this myself? Or how much a dealer is going to ding me to do it? Thanks!

    Do you mean:

You have a tilt steering column and the lever (lock; whatever ...) is gone?
    OR
    You have a non-tilt column?

If it's a non-tilt column you'll have to install a tilt column assembly to get the tilt function.

You can, your best bet would be to go to a salvage yard and find the column and possibly the steering shaft (cant remember if they are separate or combined). You can then just transfer your parts to it (i.e. steering wheel, air bag, spiral cable, etc)
